ValueWeb: A company or individual that is typically interested in the VIP Reseller program is usually already conducting some sort of Internet-enabled business. This could be web design, programming, or is using the Internet to promote marketing messages for their customers. Typically web hosting is sold as part of a larger package of services provided by the reseller. That is definitely a large advantage of the program. ValueWeb: We have 24/7 1-800 technical support available if you need to speak with someone. We also have an online program that allows us to call you back, so you do not have to wait on hold. We also have online chat available.

ValueWeb: Well just like the feeling that the Internet is everywhere, so is the VIP reseller program. Typically our pricing is significantly less than what an international customer can pay in their home country. Over the last 10 years, .com / .net / .org addresses have shown that they cannot only be owned by companies domestically, but companies abroad. Our accounts are fully supported, so it makes sense to consider this type of solution in their business plan.
ResellerConnection.com:In addition to its reseller program, ValueWeb is well known for its wide spectrum of affordable dedicated server offerings. What role do resellers play in these offerings?
ValueWeb: We have a "Dedicated Agent Program" (http://www.valueweb.com/dedicated_agent/) that is open to our resellers. The program works by taking a lead from a reseller, contacting the customer, and closing the sale. The reseller receives 10% of the customer's contract a month for the length of time they are hosted with us.

ValueWeb: Absolutely and usually at a price that is significantly less that what they pay in a shared hosting environment. For example, if a customer were to provision an entire dedicated server with their customers, they could probably have in upwards of 256 customers on a box. On a dedicated server that has a monthly price of $500, each customer has a cost of $2 to the reseller.
A solution of this kind would only be considered by a reseller that is really familiar with server based technologies so only a few of our resellers decide to go this route. Most typically decide to stay in the shared spectrum for this reason but also because they typically do not support customers of that volume.

ResellerConnection.com:At the Web Hosting Expo in August, ValueWeb introduced some exciting new features and products for its resellers. What are they?
ValueWeb: The biggest announcement was that we now have bundled a fully licensed copy of Adobe GoLive 5.0 with each Merchant and Professional account. It also makes us the first web hosting company in history to work with Adobe in this capacity. (See related press release.) We also added the Microsoft Sharepoint Team Services product to the program.
